After soaping using the M&P (melt and pour) method for over a year now, I decided to up my game and try CP (cold process). It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. It was a lot of fun being able to mess around with the soap in the mold, shaping it one way, then trying another. Of course you don't get that opportunity in M&P. The soap hardens too quickly.
I guess the only drawback is waiting a couple of days to see what your finished product looks like. I'm not a very patient person, so this is a real test for me! :) I've got at least one more day before I can unmold my soap and slice it up. Wish me luck!
